Terms of Service

These terms cover the Focus Action website, the Focus Action Guard browser extension and the Focus Action Android app (together, "Focus Action"), made by Arimai Labs, the trading name of MD. AKAID AHMED ARSHAD, a sole proprietor in Bangladesh ("we", "us"). By using Focus Action you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Focus Action

Focus Action is a focus timer with optional tools: a to-do list, stats, screen time, an app and site lock with partner codes and an AI partner, parent control, a habit tracker, a sleep journal and Google Calendar. The focus timer is free. The other tools are part of Focus Action Pro, a paid plan (see Pricing).

2. Your account

• You sign in with your email (a one-time code), with Google, or with a QR code from a device that is already signed in.
• Keep access to your email safe; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at once if you think someone else used your account.
• You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or use Focus Action with a parent's permission.

3. Focus Action Pro — the family plan

• Plans: Monthly (US$16.99 a month), Yearly (US$163 a year) or Lifetime (US$399 once). Prices may include or add sales tax or VAT where you live.
• Family: the person who buys the plan (the parent account) can add up to 3 more people by email — 4 people in all. Each person signs in with their own email and may use Pro on up to 2 devices (for example one phone and one computer). A person can be in one family plan at a time. The parent can remove a member at any time; a member can leave at any time.
• Free trial: Monthly and Yearly start with a 7-day free trial. A card or other payment method is needed to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the plan starts and renews automatically at the price shown, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Renewal and cancelling: Monthly and Yearly renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Focus Action → Plan → "Change card, plan or cancel"; Pro then stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Lifetime: one payment for Pro for as long as we run Focus Action, with no renewals.
• Failed payments: if a renewal cannot be charged, Pro stays on for a short time while the payment is tried again; then it ends until the plan is paid.
• Price changes: we tell you before a new price applies to your plan; it starts with your next period, and you can cancel before then.

4. Payments through Paddle

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes your payment, handles sales tax and invoices, and provides customer service for billing questions and returns. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to your purchase. We never see or store your full card number.

6. Using Focus Action well

• Do not misuse Focus Action: no attacks on the service, no reverse engineering to get around limits or payments, no sharing one plan beyond its family.
• The app and site lock is a self-help tool you set up for yourself. It is not parental-control or security software, and it may not stop every way of reaching a site or app. You stay responsible for your own devices.
• Partner codes and the AI partner are meant to help you; a partner you add can see your unlock requests, reasons and codes as described in the privacy policy.

7. Your data

How we collect and use data is explained in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your data or your account at any time.

8. Changes and ending

• We improve Focus Action often and may change or remove features. If a change takes away a main Pro feature you paid for, contact us for a fair refund for the time left.
• You can stop using Focus Action at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
• We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Important changes are announced in the app before they apply.

9. No warranty, limited liability

Focus Action is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
